FSL– Providing Help, Creating Hope

For more than 40 years, FSL (Foundation for Senior Living) has worked to improve the quality of life for adults of all ages, especially seniors and those with disabilities, as well as their family caregivers. FSL is one of the largest 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations in Arizona, yet offers the most personalized and caring services possible. Since 1974, FSL has helped Arizonans facing issues of hunger, disabilities, aging, illness, loneliness, and substandard housing. 

Each year, FSL assists tens of thousands of people without regard to race, religion of economic status, while remembering that each person served is an individual, a beloved family member, someone with spiritual and emotional needs. All staff of FSL believes that each life if precious and worthy of the greatest understanding and efforts.

FSL Services

  • Adult Day Health Services

    Centers throughout the Phoenix Metro Area providing medical, recreational and social services in a safe, caring environment for seniors and young adults with disabilities.

  • Adult Foster Care

    Recruitment, training, and monitoring of sponsors who integrate seniors and adults with disabilities into their households.

  • Adult Behavioral Health Therapeutic Home

    A network of foster families providing in-home support services for behavioral health clients to assist them in achieving their service plan goals and objectives.

  • Assisted Group Living

    Home-like settings that provide supervision, supportive personal care, and therapeutic services to adults with mental illness.

  • Caregiver House

    A training facility and demonstration lab designed to educate, support and advocate for caregivers and those who actively manage their own care needs.

  • Community Action Programs

    Emergency services – food, utilities, rent, referral services, and short-term case management.

  • Home Care

    Providing customized in-home services which enable individuals to remain independently in their homes with the help of housekeeping, chore, personal care, respite services, transportation, companionship, meal preparation and more.

  • Young Adult Day Services

    Young adults, ages 18 and over, who have a closed head injury or other disability, enjoy a club-like environment and access to restorative therapies.

  • Home Health Care

    State-licensed, Medicare-certified home health agency providing skilled nursing, home health aide, physical, occupational and speech therapies, and medical social work services throughout Maricopa County.

  • Home Energy Solutions

    Improving the performance of Arizona's housing stock by providing training, consulting and program development/administration in the residential energy sector.

  • Home Improvements

    Minor, major, emergency home repairs and weatherization services for low-income individuals.

  • Housing

    Affordable multi-family rental housing throughout Arizona providing individual apartments for low-income seniors and adults with disabilities. Single-family homes for sale through the City of Phoenix Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

  • Innovative Community Healthcare Solutions

    Designing solutions for Medical Partners which help them achieve their evolving care delivery objectives in the new world of healthcare reform.

  • Pathways Social Services

    Social Workers helping people in the community through Medicare-approved home visits, private care management and access to community resources and care options.

  • Senior Centers

    Providing social activities, congregate lunch program, home-delivered meals, health education and referral services for seniors in Peoria and Wickenburg.

  • SouthWest Building Science Training Center

    Providing technical weatherization and energy efficiency training to Arizona weatherization agency staff.
