Foundation for Senior Living (FSL) was founded with one goal in mind: to improve the quality of life for adults and their caregivers.
In 1974, FSL was established by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix as a private non-profit, originally providing housing and social services to elders and individuals with disabilities without regard to race, religion or social status.
Over the years, we have grown and created an integrated system of care that allows adults to age in place through our continuum of home and community-based health services.
Currently, we are one of the largest non-profit organizations in the state of Arizona, but we offer the customized care of an independent professional. How? Simply put, it’s what we are best at.
When we were preparing to open in 1974, we knew if we wanted to go beyond success and offer truly individualized care in the long run, patient care had to be one our core values. However, what else does it take to make a sustainable caregiving model?
We are a faith-based charity and we recognize and nurture the unique capabilities and achievements of all clients and FSL members. Because love and compassion are essential for our faith, we believe that drives us to excellence in caregiving.
We want to bring innovation into the way we deliver community-based and in-home services. We are committed to the development of affordable and energy-efficient homes as well as a high level of personalized care.
Ethical and honest care isn’t just an essential element in quality care. It’s the only type of care our clients receive. While we once targeted only seniors, we have expanded our services because we believe every patient deserves the highest possible quality of life.
At FSL, we are dedicated to providing the support necessary for our clients and their caregivers. We understand that to continually provide the best services possible we must continually innovate and modernize. However, we also believe our unchanging core values have been key to our clients’ health and FSL’s success.
