Building Analyst Workshop and Certification
Description: This workshop will prepare
candidates for certification from the Building Performance
Institute (BPI). The course covers health and safety
issues, building airflow, building and insulation evaluation,
combustion safety and carbon monoxide protection, envelope
and duct leakage testing and repairs. More…
This certification is required for the APS Duct Test and Repair Program and to become a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractor.
Three days including written and field certification exams.
Fees: $1,000
Building Analyst Certification ONLY
Description: This course is for candidates who feel they have adequate industry experience or have taken the Building Analyst Workshop and Certification course previously. They may forego the course work and proceed directly to testing. In order to receive a BPI certification card, candidates must pass both the field and writtem exams.
This Certification is required for the APS Duct Test and Repair Program and to become a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractor.
One and 1/2 days to complete the written and field certification exam.
Fees: $200 for the Written Exam
$350 for the Field Exam
