Providing Leadership in Residential Energy Services

FSL Home Energy Solutions (FHES) is a program of the Foundation for Senior Living and an extension of its commitment to promote personal dignity and provide environmental stewardship through safe and affordable housing.

The mission of FHES is to improve the performance of Arizona’s housing stock by providing training, consulting and program development/administration in the residential energy sector.

FHES is a leader in home energy applications and operates the SouthWest Building Science Training Center, a regional resource for energy efficiency practices and building science expertise. We enjoy active partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency, the Arizona Department of Commerce – Energy Office, APS, Southwest Gas, Tucson Electric Power, SRP and over a dozen Arizona cities.

The AZ Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program

As the Arizona sponsor of the national Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program, FHES’ AZ Home Performance with Energy Star program coordinates residential rebates through its local utility partners, trains contractors in energy assessments and best practices and quality assures completion of home energy improvements. Southwest Building Science Training Center

As an Affiliate of the Building Performance Institute, FHES’ SouthWest Building Science Training Center is certified to deliver weatherization, energy efficiency and building science training for contractors, weatherization assessors and technicians throughout the Southwestern United States.
