Having a cheerful place to visit and
spending quality time with familiar faces can provide a
significant lift in the health and spirits of an aging
adult.
Senior Centers provide older
adults a friendly and supportive environment for socialization
and maintenance of a higher quality of everyday living.
Operated by the Foundation for Senior Living, the Peoria and Wickenburg Senior
Centers offer educational programs, health promotion and information, contacts
for community services, intergenerational programs, recreational activities,
volunteer opportunities, and transportation assistance.
The Centers also serve nutritious noontime meals and provide Home Delivered Meal
Services.
