Adult day care centers, also known as adult day health services, are important resources for seniors, adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and their caregivers. At FSL, our ReCreación program provides a safe, friendly, and supportive space for seniors and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) to spend their days.

At ReCreación, members enjoy opportunities to socialize, participate in engaging activities, and receive compassionate care tailored to fit their individual needs. Daily meals are included, and transportation is also available to those who need it for a small fee. Our goal is to support our clients in living independent, fulfilled, and happy lives in their communities.
Clients aren’t the only ones who benefit from ReCreación’s adult day health services. The program also allows their caregivers time and space to go to work, enjoy some time off, or attend to their other responsibilities. Most importantly, caregivers have peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are receiving skilled care.
ReCreación Provides Accessible, Personalized Care
At FSL, we’re committed to prioritizing our clients’ well-being, and that includes their financial well-being. With inflation at an all-time high and prices continuing to rise, we understand how important it is for people to be able to access quality, affordable day care services.
At $14–$15/hour, ReCreación is significantly less expensive than in-home care. We also accept various forms of insurance, including ALTCS, VA, DDD, FCG, SAIL, AGL, and Caregiver Coalition. For individuals who need a little extra help, our team will work with caregivers to connect them with resources and discuss funding options, and we will never turn anyone away based on income.
