South Phoenix Village
FSL recently sold the last of 126 new homes that were part of the South Phoenix Village Infill Redevelopment Project. The energy-efficient new homes were affordably priced and came with $15,000 in homebuyer assistance in the form of a zero percent interest deferred loan from the City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department. Funding for the project was made possible as a result of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), a federally-funded program which was established under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 with the goal of stabilizing communities hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis.
