FSL is Participating in #AZGivesDay on April 7th

AZGivesDay Color Date

This year, FSL is participating in #AZGivesDay on April 7th. Since 2013, Arizona Gives Day has helped raise $17 million for Arizona’s non-profit sector, allowing people to learn about and contribute to causes that they believe in while enabling nonprofits to share their stories and engage the community through a unique online giving platform. Now, more than ever, nonprofits like FSL are playing a critical role in our state as we deal with unprecedented levels of need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here at FSL, many of our programs serve Arizona’s most vulnerable residents, and we are in need of resources during this difficult time. Programs, such as congregate, or group meals, are being modified, and new services, such as grocery bag delivery, have been enacted to keep food in the pantries of home bound seniors. Because of the demand for services and the need for modified service delivery, our expenses will only continue to rise. Please consider supporting FSL through #AZGivesDay.

Won’t be around for #AZGivesDay on April 7th? You don’t have to wait! Make your donation today through the #AZGivesDay website and help FSL support Arizona’s most vulnerable.

Take advantage of credits and deductions to support FSL! Remember, your #AZGivesDay 2020 donation to FSL can be deducted on your 2019 tax returns if you haven’t yet reached your Arizona Charitable Tax Credit Limit. The deadline for making tax credit donations is April 15th. Additionally, due to the stimulus, taxpayers who take the standard deduction are now able to claim up to $300 in qualified charitable donations this year as a deduction from their gross income.
