FSL's 5th Annual Hope in Motion Fundraiser has been postponed!
FSL’s Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team has made the difficult decision to postpone the March 25th Hope in Motion fundraising events in the wake of the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. The decision was made in order to focus on the health and safety of our event guests, venue staff, our employees, board members, and of course, our clients and their families.
On Wednesday, March 11th, Governor Doug Ducey declared a state of emergency for Arizona. While all of us are concerned about the impact of the COVID-19 virus, we know that it is more dangerous to older adults and those with immune deficiencies which comprises the majority of those we serve. Though we have made the decision to postpone our fundraiser, the demand for our services remains greater than ever. We need your help!
Your donations will:
- Fund and deliver critical home essentials, such as food, to quarantined and/or isolated individuals;
- Deploy emergency staffing to ensure medically necessary services are delivered uninterrupted;
- Provide transportation for clients’ to attend essential appointments such as dialysis and doctors’ visits.
And though COVID-19 affects all of us, those served by FSL are most at risk. We need your support now more than ever! Please consider donating today to help us help Arizonans combat coronavirus.
