Tami Bohannon, CFRE

President and Chief Executive Officer

Since 2022, Tami Bohannon has served as President & CEO for FSL, where she was elected the nonprofit’s first female CEO in its 50-year history. FSL programs serve statewide to address barriers to quality healthcare and housing. Serving alongside a team of industry experts and innovators at FSL, Tami addresses pressing issues such as health, hunger, aging, illness, caregiver shortages, and substandard housing. Prior to joining the FSL team, Tami served in various executive leadership, communications, and fundraising roles with renowned organizations such as Catholic Charities, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona, and the American Cancer Society. Her extensive experience spans over 30 years in the nonprofit industry, allowing her to develop a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the health, housing, and aging sectors. 

 

Outside of her day job, Tami is an elected member of the Governor’s Interagency and Community Council on Homelessness and Housing, serves as an Executive Council Member for AARP Arizona and a Pastoral Advisory Council Member for St. Francis Xavier Parish, and is a long-time member of Association of Fundraising Professionals and has served on the board and as the chair the annual signature event and awards celebration. She serves as a mentor for the next generation of fund-raising professionals and is a member of President Crow’s ASU Community Council and Age Friendly Arizona’s Leadership Team. An aging advocate through and through, Tami is also an End of Life Doula, certified to guide individuals transitioning to death and their loved ones through the dying process.
